If you are a “nocturnal” type of person, the city can offer a lively nightlife at the different nightspots where you can enjoy singing or dancing your night away at family ktvs or at the bars. You can meet young professionals or college students hanging out when you visit the city’s hot spots.
The Night Café, scheduled every Friday and Saturday nights, is one of the places where both tourists and local residents go when they are out for their “gimmick” night.
Two of the city streets at the Divisoria area are closed during the night café hours to accommodate the different food stalls that will cater to those who want to experience eating grilled foods in the middle of the street!
The night café offers a wide variety of native delicacies such as grilled chicken thigh (paa); grilled chicken breast (pitso); grilled liempo (pork belly), grilled seafood – tiyan (tuna belly), panga (tuna jaw), calamares (squid); and of course the food will not be complete without the “hanging rice” which is locally known as puso.
Mind you, the food will be served to you without spoon and fork, you must eat it with your bare hands (kinamot).
If you haven’t experienced eating your dinner at the night café, we strongly suggest you to try it sometime.
